This week, i had to deal with a rash of Javascript trojans. I looked into one of them, the scorecard beacon.jsThe code is pretty obfuscated and it makes itself look like a comscore script. This thing is as usual installing a trojan on windows systems.I am really confused by how these exploits work. My understanding was that JavaScript scope could not bubble up beyond the iframe it was placed on. Most of these malware ads seem to do exactly that, and either place a modal on top of your content, or implement a JavaScript redirect to another url.

I'm inclined to believe it was Safari
